Discover Snowdonia...

Explore or simply relax

Step outside the front door

Take walks through ancient woodlands and up spectacular mountains. Make dams and dens, camp fires and BBQs under the stars. Swim in rivers, cycle down the valley to the George III Pub and along the stunning Mawddach Estuary or simply stay put and enjoy your enchanted Welsh hideaway set in 25 acres.

Nearest trains stations are Machynlleth (40 minute drive) or Barmouth (15 minute drive).

Access up to the house is via a steep track which is fine for most cars but low slung cars may struggle.

A comprehensive list of activities and restaurants can be sent on request.

A hop, a skip & a jump away

You will find some of the best holiday activities Europe has to offer with Coed y Brenin mountain biking centre,  Surf Snowdonia, Zip World and water sports offered at Bala Lake. Hike, scramble (or take the train!) up Snowdon or climb the lesser known but more majestic Cader Idris.

Explore stunning beaches, go crabbing, fishing (fresh or fly),  paddle boarding, horse riding or bird watching. Play golf at the internationally renowned Royal St David's Golf course, visit historic castles or take a trip to the Italianate village of Portmerion. There are also the gardens of Bodnant and Plas Brondanw, The Centre for Alternative Technology (a shrine to sustainability) and a trip to King Arthur's Labyrinth to keep you enthralled.

To experience the magnificent scenery of Snowdonia National Park from the comfort of a gleaming vintage steam train, take a trip on The Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railway through 40 miles of breathtaking scenery .
